This Privacy Policy applies to Eazy F&I Solutions, FSP Licence No. 28260, mandated under IDA Risk Management (Pty) Ltd, an authorised Financial Services Provider under the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act, 37 of 2002 (FAIS Act). - Are referred to us by a dealer partner

We may also receive information from third parties such as credit bureaux and our dealer partner network, where permitted by law and with your knowledge.

- To assess your vehicle finance application and submit it to suitable lenders

- Credit bureaux: As required under the NCA for affordability and credit assessments
- IDA Risk Management (Pty) Ltd: As our mandating principal, where required for regulatory compliance
- Regulatory authorities: The Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA), the Information Regulator, or other competent authorities where legally required
- Service providers: Third-party technology and administrative service providers who assist us in operating our business, subject to appropriate data processing agreements
All third parties with whom we share data are required to handle your information securely and in accordance with applicable law.
7. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by law. Generally:
- Application and transaction records are retained for a minimum of 5 years in accordance with the FAIS Act and NCA requirements
- General enquiry records are retained for 12 months, unless a longer period is required
- Records subject to legal hold are retained until the matter is resolved
Once no longer required, personal information is securely deleted or anonymised.
8. Your Rights Under POPIA
You have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Right of access: You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Right to correction: You may request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information
- Right to deletion: You may request deletion of your information, subject to our legal retention obligations
- Right to object: You may object to the processing of your information where we rely on legitimate interest
- Right to withdraw consent: Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time (this will not affect processing carried out prior to withdrawal)
- Right to lodge a complaint: You may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa
